Warehouse Operative
Warehouse Operatives receive and stow products, pick and pack customers’ orders. It’s an essential role at Amazon: you literally bring customers’ orders to life, every day.
What does a Warehouse Operative do?
Warehouse Operatives (or Warehouse Associates) work with 1,000-2,000 co-workers in large buildings between 600,000 to 800,000 square ft in size. This role is essential to process and prepare customer orders. Read our article on how some fulfilment warehouses meet customer orders.
In this type of position, your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Receiving, checking and sorting the full range of Amazon products that enter the warehouse
- Picking, packing, and shipping customer orders
- Relocating products using forklifts, pump trucks and power pallet trucks
